I'm watching it as we speak!! I'm so in love with PR and I am so stoked that there is a new season! So far this looks like quite the wild cast, but I'm so excited to see what they do!!

Ok, I don't want to give anything away for anyone who hasn't watched it, but I will say this...there are some STRONG personalities this year. LOL, let me know when you have all watched it! I watch it on good 'ol Bravo, but I am usually on Yahoo! at the same time...anyone could add me...my name is SSADesigns.

Ack! I forgot it was started tonight! I love Project Runway!
Oh I'm a Project Runway freak. It always makes my day when I find them running marathons of the old ones too (like they did today)... I'm a total nerd. LOL!
I like this new cast, definitely strong personalities for sure though! I think the person that went home deserved to go, actually either of those bottom two would have been fine with me!

I totally agree...the person who went home totally deserved to, but the second worst would have been fine too. Overall, I was only impressed with the top three...everyone else seemed ordinary so far.
And I totally watch all of the reruns...last night my wife and I were talking about our favorite contestants...it was hard for me to pinpoint ONE, but I have to say that Christian was "FIERCE"

I wall pulling for the trash bag lady to go home. I liked the white tablecloth coat better than the trash bag dress (well now when I think about the fact that he also put those yellow rubber gloves on her - I may re-think my decision). BUT the diaper bodysuit was the worst and should have gone (IMHO) but I know for sure they wouldn't send him home - they've gotta keep him around for awhile for fun, cause you know he's gonna create some bizzare stuff!!!

The raincoat and gloves did give a very creepy killer vibe. I did not like it. Plus, he was WAY more arrogant than the trash bag lady, so I was glad that he had to go first.
And how about Austin Scarlett? He is a t-i-p!

I think the diaper guy should have gone home too - not only was his design atrocious but he was all cocky about it. At least the trash bag designer knew that her design wasn't good and wasn't all proud of it - I think that's why she deserved a second chance, she knew she could do better. Now the guy who got sent home he did a good job on the jacket itself, but the rest of it was just horrible - he didn't "accessorize" well and it just change the mood of the whole piece in a negative way. As for the top 3, I agree they should have been there - they were the most innovative and classy. I have to say I felt sorry for Daniel's model - she must have been uncomfortable in that outfit - oy.
There are definitely some designers to look out for, but I'm hoping the diaper man gets sent home early... he thinks he's all that and a bag of chips but the previews of his prior designs just didn't deliver for me. Christian may have had that attitude last season, but he delivered top quality nearly every time. I don't think this guy is the next Christian - oh, and that tan is just ugh!!!! {shudder}.

OMG, I was so excited to see Austin Scarlett on this episode! That kid totally cracks me up and I swear he gets more feminine every time I see him (if thats even possible).
As for the diaper guy, he totally creeps me out for some reason. Somethings just not "right" with him. Perhaps its his unnatural obsession with fake tanning or the fact that he made a DIAPER for his first design!!
As for the trash bag chick, I'm glad she stayed. Yes, her outfit was terrible, but I think she has the potential to make some really cool stuff (out of non-grocery items). The guy that went home was totally full of himself and for no good reason because he thought his outfit looked great and it was HIDEOUS!!
I really like the cast so far, especially that young kid that insists on wearing too-tight bermuda shorts every day. What is he, like 12? lol
Should be an interesting season.
P.S. Heidi Klum is so hot I just wanna kick her in the face. Seriously. So gorgeous.

I thought it was interesting to see the commercial with the Heidi's from the past five years. She has become so much more of a "personality" on the show. I truly think she is amazing...and soooo HOT. Plus, who else could make Auf Wiedersehen sound so cool...her accent is awesome. I truly have come to enjoy the people on the show "Top American Desinger, Michael Koors" and "Editor -at- Large of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia"...btw...when did Tim Gunn start working for Liz Claiborne?

Glad to read your posts on this because I only saw the end of it - I started watching when the runway show started - so I got to see all the designs, just none of the drama and introductions that happened during the first 75% of the show. I know I'll see it again this week. DD and I love to watch this show and she's bummed that she missed it.
