problem with the forum

Hi there! Happy iNSD!

I'm having a small problem with the forum (nothing too serious but a bit annoying ) When I open the forum, I see that there are replies to some threads, I open one to read and when I come back to the main forum the others are marked as if I had read them too (I don't know if I'm being very clear )

Does anyone else have the same problem?

But I had trouble uploading layouts this morning. I always got an error. I had shut down my computer and started it again, but nothing... I tried again after an hour and it worked for me then.

Nope, but like Sarah, had issues getting an error when uploading layouts. I just keep on trying.

me too but when I click "items in your queue" my Lo is there and I can add to Gallery. Happened 3-4 times since last night

It's not every time that it clears the "unread" (new posts) indication for me but it often does.

I'm seeing that too now that I am looking for it more closely. The unread icons are definitely disappearing before I've read a thread.

This should be fixed now. Rather than being a session based "read" system, it should keep track of what YOU have seen and read in the forums so that you see more new or unread threads / messages.

I was notcing that too (with missing posts/not showing up as unread) and I just thought it was me and being out of it.. haha. Glad to check this off my list of things i'm not doing by mistake

Yeah, it might be wonky for a couple of days until it gets a record for you. I think it might show you the last 10 days of unread posts at first until it gets a record of what you've looked at and posts older than 10 days if you haven't seen them will be marked as read automatically.

Also, under "Forum Tools" at the top of any forum you're in, you can "mark all as read" if you have a bunch of new unread posts since I changed the settings. Once you do, only actually "new" posts should show the icon for being unread moving forward...
