printing calendars?

So I LOVE Cindy's calendar toppers & want to make one this year for me & all the grandparents. Where do you get them printed? I looked at Shutterfly & Costco and it doesn't look like I can upload my own pages for the top & bottom there, and if I print & bind my own...will I need to glue the "photos" together for each page?

Thanks for any advice! :)

I print at Shutterfly and only use the toppers. I know there are some sites that let you upload the bottoms, too--try searching for older calendar threads, and there will be tons of info. If you want to print and bind your own, you might want to check if there are any double sided photo papers available. Other wise yes, you'd need to glue them together. You could also look into having them printed and bound at a local printing place (Staples, Fed Ex Office, etc).

I have mine printed at Shutterfly using the toppers, too, but when I was in the States I had mine printed at Office Depot (top & bottom), and they looked great.

The thing that concerns me about Shutterfly is that their size is 8 x11, not 8.5 x11? I would think that would cut off part of the topper.
I think Persnickety Prints has the proper size though?
Kellie, I know you have printed my calendars at Shutterfly a few times, did you find that it cut the borders off?

I've used Shutterfly for printing my calendars for the last 8 years... select full bleed photo as the top. I didn't notice any cropping.. hmm...

I just measured mine, and it's actually about 8.25 x 10.75. A little may get cut off, but I've never had it look noticeably cropped. (I haven't gone back and compared to the original.)

That's good to know, thanks!!! :)

Cool! thanks ladies! Looks like "worst case" is that I don't use the bottoms. I'll have to look into mypictales :)

I actually started using Walgreens last year - they have true 8.5 x 11 size and same-day pickup at my WG down the street, so no shipping charge :)

I printed tops and bottoms as a spiral bound book at Staples last year... (I was 3 days before flying out for Christmas so I needed something local and quick!) They had no issues with front/back, and no issues with 8.5x11. I'm guessing most print places could do something similar.
