I had a friend ask me what my girls (ages 4, 2 & 2) are doing for their daddy for Christmas...and I totally had to admit, the thought never crossed my mind. I guess they are getting old enough to start giving gifts themselves, but I totally spaced that! When I asked my girls, they said "Uhhhh...blue!" Yeah, no help. I want them to make it, not buy it cause we're done shopping for the season. So, anyone have any ideas?? :wub:

I usually make a calendar of pictures of j with daddy for Daddy's desk at work... this year - if I get my rear in gear - I want to create some 5x7 layouts of the two of them and put them on a digital photo frame... we have one in the basement that is never used and i thought that might be nice for Daddy's desk...

Get some of the inexpensive unpainted wood "stuff" from a craft store and let them paint things for him. Some of the popular ones at that age are ornaments for your tree, plaques with a handprint painted on them, little containers he can use to store pens, paper clips, and such on his desk, etc. If you think he'd use it, we've also had preschoolers paint tote bags, fabric aprons, and other cloth things. Those are available inexpensively at craft stores, too. You'd just have to do it one on one with them so they didn't get the fabric paint all over.
