If you remember a few weeks ago, I shared that my BIL is going through a lot of stuff... (years of drinking and taking pain killers, lying to his family, getting a divorce--his life is a mess).
This morning the police found him unconscious in a sewer. We can only guess that he lifted the manhole cover off himself and tried to either kill himself or escape from some hallucination (he often posts things on FB about hallucinations and not sleeping for days on end).
Anyway, he's alive and there is no bleeding in his brain. They have sewn up the back of his head and he's sedated (because he came to and started to fight the nurses). He broke a few ribs and his back is messed up from the fall. But I think he's in stable condition.
It's just amazing to think that this handsome young guy is such a mess. He was always the "hot one" who looked like he belonged in a boy band with all the friends and girlfriends. It's so sad... no matter how people look on the outside, they can have so much trouble on the inside.
Anyway, prayers are MUCH appreciated--for his deliverance from all the things that haunt him to his recovery to my dearest in-laws who are dealing with all this.
Thank you!
