Dude, your dad is pretty handsome!

Ok, I got mine. I had to photograph the photograph (lol) because my scanner is on the fritz. So, without further ado, I present to you Jenny circa 1984 (my first day of preschool, I was three years old).

I was totally rockin' the mushroom haircut and leotard dress.

P.S. And yes, my mother butchered my childhood photos with *gasp* decorative scissors. But give her a break... this was waaaay back in the early days of paper scrapping.

I am sure I have many gems around here, but this one was handy - if you look through all the hair, that is me in the back left (with the braces).

You all are so young! I was in college in the 80s and have some sorority party pics that are pretty funny - Rick Springfield fawning, bandana scarf wearing, MASH party, short-haired...and drunk in almost all of the pics. But there are so many other people in the pics, that I'm not in touch with, I hate to post them (don't have them scanned anyway).

These are great! I spent all night watching a movie and going through old photos only to discover that
  • even in the 80's I was the one behind the camera (and what a camera--the Kodak Disc)
  • the best ones, full of flourescent geometric clothing, are at my parents' house
  • I have a shameful number of photos stored in non-archivally safe envelopes
  • technology hates me and my scanner seems to have given up the ghost after scanning just 2 of these many photos that need to be preserved

Here's me in 1988. Note the white swatch and the rolled, tied t-shirt over my bathing suit.

Here's me with my sister in 1980. I'm the one with the longer hair. We had a lot of matching outfits back then.

I do not have a scanner....yet and this is the only one i have on my computer. I am the dark headed little girl. My sister's mullet is hilareous!!!!
