:crying: We had to change Faith's birthday date because her BFF's party is on the same day and DH had to work that day... well, there is only one other day we can do it because of Christmas crap and of course, all of her friends have stuff going on. :( She's sooooo disappointed... I can hardly stand it...
 
Why not talk to her BFF's parents and do a joint party? Then she can still have fun with her friends. DH won't be there, but it's better than nothing right?
 
I dunno Col, I'm not really "tight" with the mom... I'd feel like I was imposing. They're having the whole smorgasbord thing at the Y with bouncy thingies and whatnot. :unsure:
 
Awww, that really stinks....I probably wouldn't want to impose on the other girl's party either :( Maybe you guys could do something extra special as a family for her birthday and then plan something for her friends after the holidays? Then she'd still have something to look forward to. :)
 
I mean, she's having the family over that day for her party... her cousin is only a year younger so she's got that. She was just so excited for her friends to come too. Stupid holiday birthdays! I'm a July 1st baby so I always had this stuff happen to me as a kid...
 
Oh boo on that! I too hate when things don't work out! It is so hard on the kiddos! I hope you can work out something that will still make her day special!
