Planner/Organizer

Does anybody use a planner or organizer? I saw an awesome pin on Pinterest about planning/organization and I was pretty intrigued. Ive been keeping track of everything on my iphone through my calendar and evernote but Im wondering if somethings should just be phycially in my hand rather than online.

oh oh.... I love that whole marker - pen - sticker pretty color organizer! Makes this secret Staples obsessor's heart skip a beat!
 
I used to, when I was working in an office. Once I went freelance, Evernote pretty much took over. I do have a notebook on my desk with to-do lists. Oh man, but all those colors look gorgeous! :D
 
I have one that I bought at Walmart for like $3. And I love it! I use it all the time. If I don't write it down I won't remember it.
 
I'm struggling with calendars, too. I've always had better luck with planners and wall calendars than electronic ones, but a few weeks ago I finally started making the switch to my phone calendar. I don't like carrying a paper planner all the time because of the bulk, and in the last year our family has gotten busy enough that I need to have the calendar with me all the time. But what I really need to make a phone calendar work well for me is a wall version of it that everyone in the family can see...like a big tablet hanging on our kitchen wall, showing a week or month at a time. Not going to happen, LOL. (I know I could print, but I add so many to-dos at the last minute that I'd have to print daily and it would be such a waste of paper).

I'm an organizational wannabee... haha... hubby is 100% digi, so we have a google calendar - wish it was on cozi because it's prettier :D, but hubby is anti-pretty, must be functional... so that is for the big stuff. For school, I use this...

I love the monthly big picture and then the weekly is where I write out lesson plans/appointments and this year I'm also going to use it for menu planning,too... have it all in one spot... I hope...
 
I'm a planner girl! I've tried to fall in love with electric systems but it just isn't happening. I have this one from staples except mine is a pretty teal- http://www.staples.com/2013-2014-St...esk-Monthly-Planner-6-7-8-inch/product_989797

I write everything down and highlight things as I get them complete. Even the little stuff like lunch with a friend and CT work gets written down. It helps me to go back and look at it later for my Project Life pages. (And yes, I have apps for that too, I'm just not at good at using them.) I need the paper.

I really want one of these planners- http://www.erincondren.com/store/ They are dreamy and beautiful and perfect. lol. Maybe next year.
 
Those Erin Condren planners are pretty but I think if I spend that much money on a planner I want to be able to add to and take things out to fit my needs. I spent a lot of time on youtube and pinterest last night looking at the Filofax and how people organize and I think I NEED one!
 
i designed my own this year, but never printed it off. i didn't need it, seeing as i have a big calendar that i write everything down on. i will do another one in january though, i miss having a planner. i've always had one, due to school and needing to write down assignments and things.
 
Oh, I should NOT have looked at this thread! :) I'm using a planner from Target this year and it works pretty well, but I would LOVE a really pretty planner that was customizable like the FiloFax.
 
Well, Im back in school now and in the Fall Im going to be taking 2 classes on top of working and dealing with all of the kids stuff so Im thinking I would be better organized if I got a planner and wrote it all down. Now I need to decide if I want to get an A5 size or get the smaller personal size. Im going to get a Filofax though. :)

I look at some of those and immediately want one, but I have a personalized photo book type planner that I got from paper coterie last year that I used maybe 3 times. I always forget to carry it and it ends up being more of a nuisance than a help. Appointments go in my phone, other things go on sheets of paper. LOL If I could find something that my tablet fit inside of, that might help.
