Pizza toppings -- what are your faves?

Oh...and no ranch for me on pizza or fries! Yuck!! I will dip Round Table's Parmesan Garlic Twists in ranch though...a match made in heaven!!

Well, I'm a bit embarrassed to tell my favs pizza toppings, b/c they are so different from yours! :D
Pinneaple and Ham pizza is named California Pizza around here. Almost anyone likes it (I'm w/ the few who likes it) hehee
Mushrooms as pizza toppings? Here normally we eat only that most common mushroom called "champignon" (I don't know how you call it in USA.) Shitake and Shimeiji are known too, but only in Chinese/Japanese foods. The other types are a mistery to me...
Marguerita is one of my favs too. :)

Here we like to eat sweet pizzas toppings like banana w/ sugar & cinnamom, banana w/ chocolate or w/ Nutella, chocolate w/ ground cashew nuts, chocolate w/ ground coconut... w/ a scoop or two of ice cream on top of it!
Junk Food? Noooo.... banana is a fruit, btw :p

That makes me think of the local place that I really like. They have a different specialty pizza each week. One week last month they had french toast pizza. Another they had s'mores pizza.

On the more savory side, they're offering chicken marsala pizza, tuna noodle casserole pizza and general tso's chicken pizza. Strange combos for sure, but knowing this place they'll be very good!!

My absolute top toppings combination is: cheese, ham, bacon, onion, garlic, corn... awww!

But sometimes I also chose: cheese, ham, mushrooms, olives, garlic.

Xtra cheese, mushrooms and pepperoni... but not too much pepperoni if it's really salty pepperoni. yuck! (i say that because I find Pizza Hut pepperoni to be very salty compared to local joints!)
I also like green peppers and tomato on pizza but haven't had them on it in a while because my guy isn't into veggies.

My favourite one is Pepperoni...

In addition I'm also a big fan of goat cheese, so each time there's one like on offer, I usually try it. I discovered my favourite of this kind, curiously enough, in England. Pizza Express has a pizza called Padana, containing "goat cheese, spinach and red onion with tangy caramelised onions and a drizzle of garlic oil" which I love to pieces. The combination of goat cheese and caramelised onions is yummy. At least I think so. :-)

my favorite if I get to choose is bacon, tomatoes, hamburger and pineapple. I usu. don't get to choose. Jeff likes meatlovers, the kids like cheese.

When we went to the bar all the time, I would walk down the street to the pizza place and get a slice of cheese and pour honey all over it. Yummmmmmmmmmmm.

Margherita pizza sans onions is my fave, but no one else likes that, so we usually end up with boring pepperoni. Tyler will only eat Papa John's cheese. Now that Jeff is GF, though, I get my pizza fix when I visit my parents'. :)

Does the US have Boston Pizza? They have this amazing pizza called "Spicy Perogy". When DH and I first started dating, he insisted I try it, even though I thought I wouldn't like it. But I LOVED it, its by far my favorite pizza EVER.

It has sour cream instead of tomato sauce, paper thin slices of spicy potato (sounds weird I know - I didn't get it till I tried it and went to heaven, lol), cheese, crumbled bacon & green onion.

Great. Now guess what I'm craving!

We have a place called Boston's, but it doesn't look like the same thing. Our Boston's does this amazing lobster pizza. I wish it were a year round item!!

Im kinda boring with my pizza. I like double pepperoni thin crust pizza from Dominos with the sprinkly seasoning they use (its like oregano or something) with grated parmesan on it while it is still hot. I cannot eat cold pizza and wont reheat it either. Yuck. Pizza Hut used to make a pizza called "the Edge". It was thin crust with toppings all the way to the edge with this tasty seasoning stuff all over it. Not sure what was in the seasoning but it was a little spicy and gave the pizza a really savory taste. I also really really really loved Pizza Hut's dessert pizza. I miss it!!! :( They just stopped making them completely. OMGosh it was so yummy. It was really thin crust with apple (or cherry/blueberry) topping with cinnamony crumble topping and icing piped zig/zaggy across the top. Seriously so good!! Maybe they will start making it again. I found a recipe online for it so I might need to try making it myself. So I guess thats a little more then what you asked LOL. Needless to say pizza is one of my favorite foods!

They make that here still.

Awww I wish the still did here. All of our Pizza Hut restaurants where you eat in have pretty much closed. All there is left are the little ones which are delivery/carry out now. I think there might be one sit down one left and even it changed to be kind of a fast food type Pizza Hut. The last time I went there the lady who waited on us told me they stopped making dessert pizzas when the sit-down restaurants all closed.

pepperoni, bacon and mushroom is what we normally have around here, or meat lovers with mushrooms added.

if I had my way, and didn't have to share, one of the places here makes a BBQ chicken pizza that I love - BBQ Sauce Base, Chicken, Onion, Green Pepper, Tomato, Bacon, Mozza & Cheddar (I get it without tomato and cheddar).

My favorite pizza topping combination is bacon, (fresh) mushrooms and onions. Sometimes substitute the bacon with salami. We usually get Papa John's, but recently have loved the Domino's new style of pizza - SO much better than their old style. But I have to give it up to the small Italian mom-n-pops back in the Northeast - best pizza.
My favorite pizza memory though is of taco pizza - yes, taco sauce with ground hamburger, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream (the last three were added after cooking) - back at college at the only pizza joint on campus or for 10 miles for that matter.
Of course now that I'm trying to go gluten-free, I'm going to have to find gluten-free dough and make my own...
