So I've pinned like a trillion of these cool things to do with your hair, and I've only tried a couple of them.

I did this:

I didn't actually have bobby pins on hand, but I still got a couple of compliments. : )

I tried this one, but I think I should have done it with smaller braids and it would have looked better:


I'm curious to know what other people have tried and liked.

I've been doing the sock bun almost every night and it's working great for me. I didn't do mine like the one on Pinterest exactly though!

We tried the sock bun thing but my daughter's hair is really thick and long and it didn't dry before morning. Next time I'm going to barely wet it -- maybe just with a styling spray.

I feel like I've been living under a rock - I've never heard of the sock bun. What a neat idea - and it worked perfectly with my hair! I always have my hair up, but it's so fine that it becomes this tiny bun that looks odd. The sock bun completely fixed that. I felt pretty all day, lol

We use a sock bun (or a bun donut) for my synchro team. It's a great way to get matching hair styles. But I knew about them before pinterest. I haven't tried any hairstyles that I've pinned - maybe i'll try something this week
