the last two were taken at an old Indian dumping ground where they would dump their clam/oyster shells. I swear I would have never believed it if I had not seen it. The mound like like thirty feet above the water and has a boardwalk going over it. Amazing to see :-)

the bottom two are salt water but not ocean...they are Mosquito Lagoon. I have never been to this particular beach before. It was very pretty there and we plan on going back when the water warms up enough to actually swim and the jellyfish die back down. They are supposedly a problem right now although I only saw one while out on the beach. We did not go swimming either time because the water was just to cold LOL

just one more...this is the photo I took at the top of the mound. It is alot higher I think then the photo can show. (funny thing I showed my husband the pictures when I got them all uploaded cause he hadnt seen them yet and he sees this one and says oh who took that one? Ummm yea there were four of us there today and three of you are in the photo who do YOU think took it? LMAO)

Ive been to the southern portion of Canaveral national Seashore MANY times!! Never been this far north though. It is probably even prettier then where we usually go. We were going to go to the lighthouse in Ponce Inlet but my hubby and son were tired and Im the only one who would actually climb to the top anyhow. Hubby cant make it and both my sons are scared of heights.

Ahh - Jessica! How fab to see that - we honeymooned at Canaveral Beach - good times...good times :)

It was beautiful outside today. I wish I could bottle it and share it with everyone who is still cold!! (or you know we could trade places for a little while cause Ive never seen snow in my life and would love to experience for just a little while!!)

Well, I'm farther up in Florida (panhandle), but it's so beautiful here today. It has rained for the past 3 days straight, so we're loving this sunshine. A little cooler than last week, 68 today (was in mid-70s last week), but we'll take it! Our local Air Force Base has an air show this afternoon, so we're gonna take the boat over and watch from the water!!! Should be a good time.

Guess we got the rain from up there Kresta!! It has been raining here all morning. Not that Im complaining we REALLY need it!! (plus it gives me an excuse to sit and scrap LOL)

I've been to Ponce Inlet when we stayed in New Smyrna Beach. I love the bird photo and am very jealous that you were at the beach. Although I have to laugh at you because I would have thought that water was warm. I've actually been swimming there in March!

If I had went in I would have probably gotten used to the temps BUT the jellyfish are supposed to be bad over there right now too. I only saw one but didnt want to take the chances of getting stung!! Ive lived here now almost 29-30 years and never been stung
