Ok, so I'm looking at getting one of those negative scanners. My dad has one and he scanned a few negatives for me but I'm wondering about how many pixels/inch the pictures need to be so that I can scrap them and print them to an album. When I look at the digital pics I have taken off my camera, most of my pics are at 230 ppi. Is this about what everyone else does? I know when I do a lo on PSE 7, I start it at 300 ppi but if the picture is at 230, it still seems to print ok.
But the pics that my dad sent me off the scanner are 96ppi. I'm thinking this is not going to come out very clear if I print them eventually in a lo, right?
Am I making any sense at all?
