I can't do anything. I can't design.. I can't scrap. I may just huck my computer out the window. that is all. carry on with your regularly scheduled programing.
 
My PSE can act like that too - I know how you are feeling, though I think my problem is to do with lack of ram
 
CS3 was doing that to me, so I uninstalled it and figured I would just reinstall it. Well, that was stupid...because now it won't let me. I've called, read everything I can, and all I can figure that I need to do is do a complete sweep of my computer, and then try to reinstall. Thankfully I have PSE4 on it, or I wouldn't have been able to scrap at all in the last 4 months!
 
it's def a lack of.. everything .. issue for me ^_^ I finally got it sorta working, enough to get one stinkin thing done anyway :p lol.. garh.
 
Have you downloaded anything new to you computer. Like fun mouse icons or those smiley face programs?

I know this sounds stupid, but when I first got PSE I had the same problem. It was brand new, but it would crash after like 10 minutes of use. It was sooo frustrating. I finally called and spoke to some one (there were definatly out of the country) and he asked if I had downloaded those fun mouse icons or something along that line. Basically there is someting in those programs that conflict with the Photoshop. It happens often he said.

Anyways, that is my idea. If you have one of those just go uninstall it and then try PS again. Good luck!
 
Noooooooooo! I've just starting stalking you...errrr... finding your kits! I will die if you can't design!!! :blink: I've downloaded a program (free) called Crap Cleaner. I think its ccleaner.com or something like that and it seems to help with my issues. I hope and pray your computer stops acting up!
