photobooks help!

I've been ordering individual scrapbook pages (from Scrapbooks please) for my son's albums. This time I was hoping to order an actual photo book (classy, save space...)

Scrapbooks please has books up to 80 images. Persnickety prints has books up to 100 images. When I played with the numbers they seemed to be roughly the same price overall.

I was all set to try Persnickety prints, but their uploader was a nightmare! I had to do each print one at a time and it kept resizing them! Anyone else use these folks? How do you upload? Is there another company you might recommend?

I might just bail on the idea and go back to ordering individual pages. Might save me from a headache!

I use Snap My Life Creations (previously known as Inkubook) and love them. Their uploading is easy, the prices are good, and the quality is good too. Not that I've printed anywhere else to compare to.

Adoramapix has awesome quality apparently, and they regularly have sales. Their prices are dearer, but that's because you're getting a real photo quality print. I uploaded layouts to Adoramapix and found it easy to use, but Snap My Life ended up having a bigger sale at the time, so I went with them instead. I'd still like to give Adoramapix a try though. Megan Turnidge prints her albums there and raves about them.

I have never used the book section of Persnickety Prints but it is where I get my pages printed and I have to say they are pretty amazing. I have never had an issue uploading there though. I bought some scrapbook albums at Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts store last year and a bunch of page protectors and printed up a ton of pages. Each of my kids and my husband has their own album and then I have one for the family layouts and one for events & outings. I also have started a wedding album and baby album for my daughter.

I've used Inkubook in the past and have been pleased with them. The last book I ordered had roughly 150 pages and was around $50 (8"x8").

I print photobooks at Persnickety and upload my photos in batches all the time. I'm not sure why you have to do them one at a time. I save my layouts 12x12 but print 7.5 x 7.5 books and they automatically resize them so I don't have to, which I like.

I've never tried anyone else because I LOVE the quality of the books I get there but I would be annoyed too if I had to load one at a time!

As much as I love the quality of Persnickety, I too, have a lot of problems with uploading layouts and like you have to do one at a time... drives me nuts!

I've only done shutterfly and ArtsCow books... did not like the end product of ArtsCow.

I'll have to look into Inkubook... I'll have a couple of books that is going to be bigger than 100 pages. :)

Strange that some of you need to do 1 LO at a time for Persnickety. I can upload all of mine at once. You might want to email them and ask for help.

Just checked out Snap my lIfe Creations! That looks like just what I'm looking for. Their interface is much easier to use! Thanks Jacinda!
