paypal question..

I don't use paypal for much so I'm not sure of this...if I have an acct but it's not verified..(i do not have it linked to my bank account) can I still receive a payment? I've been participating in a survey site and reached the cashout amount but their only form of payment is through paypal..but I do not want to have to link my bank acct. I had 1800 dollars stolen for our acct a few years ago b/c someone hacked my paypal so I'm too gun shy to do that again. It took nearly 4 mos to get our money refunded. So as long as I don't want to withdraw or transfer money with my bank acct can I still receive a payment?

I am not 100% positive, but I would say yes. I think anyone can receive payment, you would just need a bank account attached to transfer it to your bank.

yes you can accept payment that way. You can also order a paypal card which can let you spend the money anywhere that accepts credit cards. It is limited to how much is in your paypal account so you cant go over.

I opened a separate bank account separate from our regular account just to use with paypal.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question but I am wondering what survey site it is.

Melissa it's treasuretrooper.com I started about 6 weeks ago and I've already earned 50 dollars just from taking the surveys and doing cash clicks..I don't bother with the cash offers b/c I learned pretty quickly they don't usually payout.

hey nikki I just signed up and it gave me the option to be paid by either paypal or by check...maybe you can change how you are paid?

true...Im not sure why you could not get paid through paypal though. I had my credit card linked to paypal at one time and was paid for ebay auctions on there. I never linked it to my checking because of the same reason as you. I had a credit card issued from paypal which was really more like a check card with a visa/mastercard logo (I dont remember which one now) and I could use the card and didnt have to worry about being over a limit because it would only allow me to spend what was in my account and my purchases were protected just like with a C.C. so if there was an unauthorized charge I just contacted paypal.
