Paper Curl Templates

Ok so I have Micheline's templates for the curl and I can not for the life of me figure out how to make them work in CS3 the screen shots are different then what I am use to looking at so if any one has any tips I would love them.

Which set do you have? All but the first set (I think) have a layered .PSD file that you should be able to use like a template.

oh I can get it open in psd but I can't figure out how to get the color of the paper on the template and it still look all crumpled

Oh, you have to play with the blending modes on the colored part of the crumple. I'm not sure what CS3 is like, but in PSE I can do that in the layers pallette.

You need to follow that written instructions titled

Tear_Template_Tut_for_PS

The screen shots are for Paint Shop Pro (I think). I also use PSE but the instutions work great for me. Also I do play around with the blending modes just a bit. After I do "COLOR" I usually duplicate that layer and choose "MULTIPLY" and then lower it's opacity to like 30-35 %.
