Hey everyone! I know I'm just getting back into the digi world and a lot of you don't know me, but I would greatly appreciate some prayer and positive thoughts for my family.
My mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in early June. She just had a double mastectomy on monday. She came home from the hospital yesterday and is in a great deal of pain. Some good news though, they were able to get all the cancer and since her nodes were clear, she does not need chemo or radiation! She has a ways to go in her recovery though, so I'm praying her pain subsides and her reconstruction surgeries go well.
Also, my brother is in the hospital with a severe infection in his leg. This is the 3rd time he's had this infection (cellulitis), so it is not responding well to the anibiotics he is being given through a pic line. Doctors are worried about the infection growing and if the meds do not start working, he could lose his leg.
