Hi ladies! lol, I'm just starting to get interested in the hybrid stuff, mainly wanting to get started with the chipboard albums. They're so cute! Anyways, in the GGG sale, I saw these Maya Road: Outer Loop Chipboard Alphabet Set

Well, since I was running out of time to get them, I figured why not. lol. Ok, so I got them today(super-fast shipping!!) and I've no clue what to do with them! :p Has anyone gotten them, and used them? They're cool, I'm just clueless and I couldn't find anything in the gallery with them. I'm such a dork!

In the first, I used some printed paper and glued it onto the letter.
In the second example, I simply painted the letters black.

This is the jonathon alpha from the store - I just left it raw and used it for a bit of titlework on the cover of one of my albums...

Outer Loop would work just as well for something like this! So glad you picked those alphas up - they are too cute!

Cool! lol, I can't imagine fighting with paper and glue :) but they look good painted, and plain(wouldn't have guessed! lol).
Thanks for the pics girls!!

I usually paint them - they're pretty hard to cover with paper (its possible, but a pain). If you have rubber stamps you can stamp a design on them too.
You can mix them up with other letters too - here's one I did recently...just used a chipboard "e" with other letters (I painted and inked the edges on it):

Oh, that's nice! I wouldn't have thought of mix and match! lol, seriously, I just totally blanked when I actually saw them, but I'm definately excited to give them a try!
