We got back late last night from our weekend down in Denver, just Lizzy and I. It was soooooooooo sooooooo SOOOOOOOOO much fun!! And, as promised, we took photos to show everyone just how insane we really are.

When we got to our hotel room, we noticed these weird things on the ends of our beds that looked like table runners. Naturally, we played dress-up with them.
Oh! And when we went into the bathroom, we saw that we had PINK toilet water!! Cool, huh?
Then we did some shopping and ate dinner at this cool diner called Cheeburger, Cheeburger. (yes, I left out the "s" on purpose, its actually called Cheeburger, Cheeburger!)
At this place, you can build your own burger from a huge list of toppings. Liz noticed that one of the add-ons was, of all things, peanut butter. The waitress said that if you like PB, you'll love it on your burger, so we gave it a shot! IT.WAS.AMAZING! Just a *little* bit of PB on your burger is DIVINE! We were freaking out! Here I am putting a thin layer of PB on my bun. YUM!!
After dinner we headed back to our hotel room for a quiet night of t.v. and early to bed...
Just Kidding! We went to a liquor store, stocked up on marg mix, Coconut Rum, and other yummy liquid treats.
We stayed up until 3:30 am listening to awesome music, dancing and gabbing and laughing until tequilla came out of our noses (literally, no joke). We have a few pics of ourselves looking quite drunk and quite happy, but I'll save those for another time.
We spent all day yesterday shopping and just have a good ol' time.
It was the MOST.FUN.EVER. :wub:

it really was such a blast to go away for one night and just unwind. no kids. no phone (well kinda). no whiney husband wondering when you'll get home. girls time is required. thanks for looking.
