Those of you I'm facebook friends with have seen my 92 billion posts from last night, BUT, I wanted to share here too. :)

Now, our surprise wasn't as exciting as Libby's was for Gracie, BUT, we surprised our girls with tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Chicago last night. She performed at Soldier Field to a sold out show (52k people she said!) and well, it was a BLAST. We bought the tickets back when they went on sale, before Christmas, and kept it a secret until yesterday afternoon. We told them as we were heading up to Soldier Field. We went with my best friend, her daughter and Laura Banasiak (another scrapper). As we were going to pick up Laura, we told them....

Here's just a few pictures. Emma didn't get to sit with us because we couldn't get 6 tickets together, BUT, she did sit with Laura

lots. of. people.

hahaha...those faces are ridiculous! I don't know how you kept it a secret with all the whiney why cant we go comments you had.

LOL It actually made me laugh every time. What was REALLY funny, earlier that day, Emma was on a mission. She had lost her Taylor Swift bracelets she had gotten for Christmas and was looking for them EVERYWHERE. She had no idea what was going on, but the irony of the situation was SO funny.

Looks like it was an amazing time! I can't wait to take my kids to their first concert someday. :)

hehehe I was so excited to see your videos and pics!! Gracie kept asking me if the girls knew yet. LOL

I LOVE their reaction, and I am DYING over their thoughts about Ed. LOL I actually thought he was crazy talented even though I wasn't familiar with him a lot before. I knew a couple of his songs, but since the show, I've been humming his stuff all week.

Libby, I really like Ed's album, but I could see why the girls were kinda bored. He did a lot of freestyling and improv and well, their attention spans are that of a small puppy LOL

Yeah, and I noticed his songs are looooooooooooooooooong. If I thought they went on forever, I can only imagine what the girls thought. There were times he'd be doing his freestyling thing, and then he'd go back to the main chorus. And I was like "Really? We're still on this song?" LOL

Did he do his jazz cover of Nina Simone's Be My Husband? That was my FAVORITE that he did all night (next to Lego House and A-Team of course)

hahahahaha SO cool!! your girls are TOO cute, Laura! :)
and I'm starting to like Taylor just because of you and Libby! LOL
