Organizing Fonts

So do you guys have any suggestions for organizing fonts? I use ACDSee for my kits, but I have no idea how to go about organizing my fonts. So what do you do?
 
I throw all my fonts into a folder on my EHD that I named "Fonts" (creative, haha...and it's NOT the Windows Fonts folder, which means they are installed)...and then use The Font Thing to look through my fonts and install/uninstall them. :)

Same except I keep all my Darcy fonts and my 2Peas fonts in seperate folders inside my big font folder...
 
I do what Bree does, except I have 7 font folders because the Font Thing took too long to load all of my fonts... let's not discuss numbers.. and so I split them up.
 
I had never heard of The Font Thing before, so I looked it up, and every version I found is OLD (like, 1999 or 2000). Does anyone have a link for a newer version that I'm just being too dumb to find?

Since I got the new computer no one is aloud to download fonts and install them unless they can be used commercially....LOL!!
