I must`ve pressed something on my laptop, but I have no idea whatÉ! I`m getting these foreign letters and symbols when I`m pressing certain keys - the question mark É, my brackets ^^^^^¨¨¨....

Check the default language. Maybe you switched it somehow?

In your taskbar, look for the little keyboard and change it to US

your set langage must be French. You have to chage it to English - Canada

Sometimes using a mouse and trying not to hit the touchpad is tricky!
