Ooops...No School!

Ha! So, this morning I got Mason completely ready for school...and we were waiting for these older neighbor boys to come get him and walk him to the bus stop (just across the road, I can see him from my office window)...but they didn't come when they usually do. So I came and looked up the school schedule - yeah, they're off school until the 28th. LMAO!

In my defense, we don't celebrate Easter and it's been a lot of years since I was in school, so I'd forgotten about taking so much time off. Doh!
 
Oh Gosh! That sounds like something I'd do!One year during the time change, I sent my son and nephew out walking to school an hour early! I had forgotten that the time changed! LOL
 
Oh your not the only one, Bree. The girls were on spring break last week and the school district tacked on a professional day today (where the teachers have to be there for training but the kids are out). My husband thought he heard the bus go by and woke the majority of us up. I thought I had made a mistake until I pulled up the school web site to show him. LOL!
 
All week off here, and my youngest says that means all week is Easter, so we need to still color eggs.....

We say what do you mean all week is Easter, he says ya know like christmas!:blink:

I guess with all of our families it does seem to take a week for christmas

Mine are home for two whole weeks for Spring Break, ugh! But at least I can't forget the day they go back, it's Quinten's THIRD birthday that day!
 
Mine just went back today! But I've goe to the bus stop early on 2 hour delay days.... thank goodness my neighbor saw me and told me!
 
I would have done that next Monday, our kids get their Spring break this week so they are off all week. I thought they went back to school next Monday. They don't, they go back on Tuesday, why, I have no clue! But I definitely would have had Benjamin all ready to go LOL
 
I did the same thing Bree! Got Liam all ready for Kindergarten, MIL came to pick him up and she said she heard on the radio that school starts back Tuesday...so I checked the calendar and it didn't say NO School like all the days last week did - so she took him (it is only about 2 minutes away) just in case. In a few minutes he was back! No school for the kids today, just the teachers! UGH!!
