One Week-Not one single accident!

I guess waiting till Landen was 3.5 was the best decison!
He has been one week in undies and not one single accident.
He is proud of himself and even gets up, takes his diaper off and puts his undies on all by himself now!
Hooray for my big boy!
 
Awesome Landen! We stopped PTing Kaylee on Saturday. :( She doesn't get the feeling to let her know she has to pee before she goes, so it was just accident after accident. We'll try it again near the end of the summer and see how it goes. She'll be 3 on Sept.1st.

I had started PTing my son (currently 2.5) but gave up b/c he really just didn't get it...I plan to wait til he's 3 in November and try again! You have given me hope that it does just "click"!!
 
Yay that's great!...I think I was lucky DS pretty much trained himself by age 3. We don't even use pull ups at night anymore which is nice. :)
 
Ohhhh congrats!! That's so awesome!

Boy this is so nice to hear. My DS turned 3 in May and we've tried a few times without success and I was hoping this summer will be "the" time. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only mommy with a little boy who wasn't potty trained before 3 years old. Gives me hope that "the" day will be soon!
 
Yay!! yeah Owen's bout 3.5 now and he was the same way, hasn't had a single accident either lol. so Yay for Landen!!
 
WTG Landen! And Landen, could you please come over and show my son how to put his undies on? He doesn't seem to want to learn from his mommy. Thanks handsome. :)

both my kids trained @ 3.5 too and it was pretty good from then on, nights too. :thumbup:
 
Yeah Landen!

I waited until my boys were around 3.5 too. They just didn't seem to get it until then, but once they did we had hardly any accidents.

It is so great when you get to quit buying diapers/pull ups, they are so expensive!

I'm glad to hear that there are girls like this too! We've tried a few times with Katie now, and she just doesn't get it. I think that she doesn't get the feeling to let her know she has to go yet. She'll be 3 on August 14. So now I know that I don't need to be stressed out yet!
 
Way to go!! I thought maybe I was the only Mommy with an almost 3 year old boy not PT yet. We keep trying too but he just doesn't get "it". Maybe someday soon it will just click.
 
That is AWESOME honey. I can relate to the perils of potty training! Wes was my easiest but Lily was roughly that age when she finally potty trained!
