one more QOTD

I'm an obsessed reader. I'll give anything a shot. I usually read a couple books a week.

I don't really have time to read anymore. I read curriculum and books that have to do with homeschooling, and I read the Bible. But I haven't picked up a novel or fiction for months and months.

I typically only read non-fiction or crusty, old British literature. I rarely read modern fiction, but I love me some A.M Homes.

Books are a necessity for me. I'm always reading something, a variety of genres. I probably average 4-6 books a month. I'd read more if I had the time.

I'm an avid reader and will give pretty much any fiction book a chance. I also read poetry too. I'm always looking for free Kindle books from indie authors.

The last book I finished was a freebie on Kindle called: In Between, it was a YA book but it was really decent.

I don't like reading. I love reading. I NEED reading in my life. I turn into a total sourpuss crankypants when I don't have time to read.
I'll give anything a try, but I prefer romance, mystery, and historical fiction.

I'd say on average per month I read 10 books.

i'm just like Laura & Carrie. my kindle goes everywhere with me, is completely filled up & i read several books a week...though i've actually slacked the past 2 weeks. it's a sort of therapy for me...a time to unwind.

Yes, avid reader her too. Both DD and I are. We both cart our kindles where ever we go since you never know when you're going to get stuck somewhere. I always have something to read while I'm waiting for her to get out of practice or school, orthodontist visits, etc. I have to read every night before going to sleep - sometimes it's only 10 minutes sometimes an hour or more but I have to read or I can't sleep. I average a book a week depending on how much needs to be done around the house, how many games DD has a week, how much scrapping or quilting I do, etc. Plus that pesky full-time job thing I have to do - LOL I do have other interests so I don't have my nose buried in a book ALL the time ;)

I have a book group on facebook if any of you would like to join :) we do freebies and I give stuff away. just a fun place for book nerds to hang ;) just lemme know if you want added

I love books.... I'm just an author snob.... I only read James Patterson books (and yes he was chosen not only because we share initials, but we share the same last name lol). SOMETIMES I will try something completely different, but I find it really hard to get in to a good flow with other writers.

love to read ... I usually only read at night but occasionally during the day I take a reading break as well. I would say 1 to 3 books a week depending on the length.

I love to read and it makes me so sad when I can't read. Right now I'm only reading textbooks, and those don't count. :( I can't wait until I have free time again.

I do like to read but I don't have a lot of time to do it. I need to quit working so I have more time for hobbies!
I honestly wish books on tape were not so expensive!

Try your local library, most have both physical and downloadable audiobooks.

I've always got a book on the go. I don't read as much as I did before I got into scrapping but I still get 2-3 books read a month. I tend to read a lot of YA, mystery/thriller and contemporary romance. Right now I'm reading Fallen by Karin Slaughter (I've read all her books). Next up I'll be reading Low Pressure by Sandra Brown.

I love reading, mainly fiction but pretty much any kind... I might squeeze in two books a month. I don't have much time to sit and read at leisure so I take a book with me when I know I have to 'do waiting' (e.g. when I'm waiting to pick the kids up from school, at swimming lessons, taekwondo, dentists, doctors, etc), and I read most nights when I hop into bed... but I often fall asleep after a couple of pages because I am SOOO chronically tired.

I only read paper books (no kindles, etc for me) and borrow them from the local library.

I'm currently reading a three book series by Kay Bratt (Tales of the Scavengers Daughters) about abandonned girls in China.
