I think my kids have more this year to open than all the years they've been alive combined...:blink:

I vow to never shop for presents on any day but black friday again. :thumbup:

WOW! how exciting for them... not so fun for you. lol I can't believe you're already done shopping AND wrapping, you're my idol.

My girls aren't going to have a lot of stuff to open this year, but hopefully they'll "get" why. We got them a Wii and we're getting Rock Band to go with it. They'll have a couple little things each, and their stockings, but that's really the extent of it.
 
I'm done..just need to wrap, gonna attack that subject while they are in school this week lol

I hate wrapping..so i'm a tiny bit jealous! Laura I am sure they will LOVE what they open on Christmas and understand why!
 
We are done too...we had done a major layaway at KMart, and now we have it. DW has started wrapping, a little each night. The girls got a lot, but almost everything is going to both of them. They like and play with the same things, so that was the best way to prevent "The Barbie Party Cruise is MINE!!"
 
I don't have a single present to wrap yet so I am way jealous! I did order a few things online but have to wait for them to get here. My youngest gave me two games he wanted and I had to let my uncle get one so I'm stumped with him. Oldest just got a lizard and tank set up that costs about $250 by the time we were done and he was only supposed to get small stuff because he got the snowboard for a bday/christmas present. Now I'm only getting him a few small things. My mom is done, no clue on what to get DH. I vow to start wrapping as soon as presents get delivered tho for sure!
 
I am sure it feels good to have that done! Gift wrapping is my least favorite chore of the season. UGG.
 
I won't shop until about a week before Christmas. I usually sit and wrap gifts while hubby and kids go to Church for Christmas eve service :)

My kids neb around our house too much to buy ahead of time. We don't have any kind of storage except a few closets.
 
I'm almost done with my shopping now too after Black Friday but I'm going to wait to start wrapping everything until we get the tree up this week. I have two Barbie Diamond Castle dolls left to buy and Kaylie's birthday gifts (her birthday is the 12th) and a few stocking stuffers for Kyle and I'll be done! Plus I'm not sure how Kyle will do with the presents under the tree, he's almost 19mo old so I'm thinking he'll be trying to get into them if I put them out early lol!!
 
ah I haven't even finished Christmas shopping and I haven't started wrapping! I don't even have the tree up... I'm running a little slow this year I think :)
 
I'm pretty much finished shopping, and everything I have in hand has been wrapped or stashed to be left out from Santa.

The down side is I'm SO ready to have them open them now! LOL
 
Isn't black Friday shopping the best!!! I love black friday we go every year - I am done too and it feels Great!!!! (that was so tony the tiger) -
I have to wrap everything too - :( - I think I will put it off till the morning when they are all at school -
 
i went ahead and got Chloe's Leap Frog Tag Reading System. but tomorrow is payday and we'll probably head to KMart and Sears for Layaway, lol. i'm so excited! and i love to wrap presents so i can't wait. my kids aren't getting a whole lot either. they really dont' need a lot, except some winter clothes. they'll get a few toys but thats about it.
 
We wrapped the first lot the other day, after my shopping trip on Wednesday, we need to sit down and get those done.

We have one big lot of stuff coming from Sears, so when that gets here, I have to get on that too.

I'm just waiting for my Christmas cards to show up from WHCC and I'll be set, I got the set of invitations I ordered AFTER my Christmas cards, but still no Christmas cards. I'm going to be ticked if they are stuck in customs, I ordered them almost a month ago!
 
i :wub: wrapping presents, except i do them over the span of the season cause i go all martha stewart with my wrapping. it's my hobby. :D

I am totally with you on this...I am all about being Martha at the holidays. Favorite wrapping...either brown kraft with a big red bow and an ornament or crazy electric non-christmas colors...like purple and pink. Every gift has something attached to it.

yes!! i like buy berries and ornaments and random ribbon and bows and make big bows and stuff on mine. whip out the glue gun and it's all over! :D
