OMG, what should I buy???!

I received a nice little surprise in the mail today. I had some health problems about 18 months ago and went to several doctors and specialists and whatnot. My insurance took care of a good deal of it, but I had to pay some of it of course. I later found out there was a problem with my insurance so that I overpaid. Well, today I got a refund. I was expecting about $70 or $80, which would be nice, but not really a big deal. Well, I just about fainted when I opened the envelope and the check was for $633!!! I've been walking around with a huge smile on my face all day long.

What should I buy???!!!! I just got a new laptop last spring, and a new camera in December. A printer maybe? A new lens? I know absolutely nothing about lenses.

This is like the best thing to happen to me in months. LOL! What would you buy?
 
Wow girl! Isn't that the BEST kind of surprise? Congrats and no idea what you should buy. What do you want? LOL

well if you don't need a camera or computer, what about an EHD? or a subscription to an online backup service? i don't know anything about lenses but that sounds good too. i'm sure there are all sorts of fun camera goodies out there.

can't wait to hear what you treat yourself to!

I'd probably take 100 of it and buy some scrapping stuff I didn't need LOL. Then, no idea! Is there anything you've been wanting, a tablet, EHD?

What kind of camera do you have? I always have lenses on my wish list.

I have printer that is 13x19 capable and I LOVE it!

An big honken portable EHD would be nice too.

I'd definitely stock up on some digi and traditional stuff I'd been eyeing.

So that's what I'd buy if I had money to spend, have fun spending yours!
 
WOO HOO...that is so great!!! I agree and would spend some of it on some scrapping stuff ( things you would use ALL the time) and a EHD is always a good idea too. I have no clue what you should spend the rest on though...Just go wander around the mall or something and maybe that one thing will jump out and say "BUY ME" Have fun with it girl :thumbup:
 
I'd be getting a new lens! I really want a good zoom lens...that and maybe get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved so one of my girls can use it in the future. I guess it costs $100 to do :(
 
WHOOHOOO!! I love free money! LOL!

I'd buy a 70-300mm lens, a big ol' EHD, or just go wander around the mall for a while :p

On my wish list is a Canon Speedlight flash ($300ish) and long/fast telephoto like the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L ($1200).... LOL... I'll be wishing for a looonnggg time! LOL
