OMG so scary!! NSBR

we were watching this all unfold today. this is so weird. so very weird. from the decision to MAKE that thing to the little boy NOT being in there when it landed.
 
I'm watching it on CNN right now. They're theorizing that this thing couldn't have even lifted off with the boy inside because of how it was built and his weight. I really hope they're right and that he's just hiding because he's afraid to get in trouble!!

Devin, my 6 year old (7 next month) is watching too. He said, "Mommy, I'm never ever, never ever, never ever, gonna touch stuff that's not for kids again!!" It's a scary way for my guy to learn that lesson.
 
It's on tv right now. Crazy. I wonder where the boy could be- how strange that the balloon would lift off at the same time that the boy went missing.... he must have set it off and hid because he thought he'd be in trouble.

gosh. I'm in tears. Whether he was on it or not, can you imagine thinking he was on it and then hearing over the radio "Be advised, it's empty. It's empty." over the police radio. I busted into tears and it's not my kid!
 
Yeah but you mean to tell me that while they were watching this balloon fly across the state, the parents never noticed that the box wasn't attached? Doesn't that sound odd to you?
 
Wow......I don't even know what to say......I am speechless and have chill bumps all over me. So heart wrenching. I truly hope he is just hiding. Maybe he released the line that was holding it or something and is scared now to get in trouble...???? I don't know...wishful thinking.
 
MSNBC.com is reporting that the local sheriff says the boy has been found safe at home.
 
Ok, so this is where Liz and I live. In fact, it looks like the balloon flew right over her part of town. I watched the whole thing today and I was mortified at the thought of that little boy being in that balloon. In the back of my mind I kept praying he was hiding somewhere. I was watching the press conference on the local news when the sheriff was interrupted and told the boy was found. Everyone was so relieved. And so am I.

But seriously, What.The.Hell. First, this family obviously has issues. If you read anything about their shows on wifeswap you'll know that they are kinda insane. and their kids are totally out of control. So for him to have been hiding all that time? Thats just not ok on so many levels. I feel awful for all of the rescue personell that searched for that boy, thinking they were looking for a body. You should have see the faces of the searchers when the balloon landed and they opened up the compartment and he wasn't there. It was heartbreaking.
 
I heard about that too Darcy, makes me sick that people would do something like this just for attention or "show", I hope they get in trouble by the law for having people look for the little boy and wasting tax payers money.
 
Yeah, I just saw the video on Darcy's facebook page. What is up with people doing such horrible things to get onto TV or into the spotlight. :( So sad.
