I am freaking out here, just got an email from Amazon.com that the Kindle is now available as international wireless!!!! I want one, I need one, been dying to get one since they came out. Guess I have to save up money to order one. Oh my, I am so excited :thumbup: *doing happy dance*

I have the kindel app for my i phone. I love love love having it it. It is so cool to be able to download almost instantly and you can read anytime anywhere.
My mom just got the international version. They go on a lot of cruises in various countries & she wants to be able to dowload books while they are gone. My dad has a regular one and apparently that limitation was frustrating.
I want one but I get so many books used or from the library I just can't justify the cost until they come up with a way to share books

I only download books when I am traveling or if the wait on the library book is really long. I had to buy about half of the Sookie Stackhouse books becuase they were already on reserve or checked out buy someone else and I just couldn't wait. So $6 is cheaper than buying the book and instant...

I just got mine last week and I LOOOOOOOVVEEE it!! It is so convenient, no eye strain at all, and did I say it was convenient?? I love it! I have already read 3 books with it - I like the sample feature where you can read the first chapter for free!
Also, Barnes and Noble has one coming out called the Nook that looks really cool!!
