Awww...you girls are so sweet! Not to worry, they'll still be plenty of challenges. SSD was the last bit of scrapping responsibility that I held onto. I've been getting less and less computer time (though probably still more than a lot of working moms get lol) that started when DD2 started skipping her 1st nap...and then a lot of other things that meant less computer time for me. I hadn't been able to get the gallery like I used too and heck...I wasn't able to scrap as much as I used to or would like.
I'm thinking about taking an on-line course in Medical Transcription. It's self-paced, but people average 15-30 hours studying a week and it takes about a year. So those 15-30 hours had to come from somewhere . And I know I probably could've just stayed on and did my 3 LOs a month...but I really needed to let go of all responsibility so it would be easier for me to devote my free time 1st to studying (which I HATE lol). I haven't paid my tuition yet...was waiting on getting our tax return back to see how much we owe. Good news is that our accountant called us yesterday and told us that we would be getting a fat refund (overpaid in estimated taxes last year) and it would even be enough to cover our 1st quarterly estimated taxes - woohoo. So I'll probably be enrolling in a couple of weeks.
So I'll still be around...just a LOT less. And I told Robin that when a time comes when I can commit to a CT again and there's a Babe call...I'm so applying again!
Sounds like the refund is a sign! Good Luck at school, Karen and thanks for everything you've done here. You were awesome to keep up with those challenge pts! I hope you can squeeze out some more scrapping time eventhough it sounds like you'll be busy, busy.
Good luck with school Karen!! You will be oh so missed, but I hope the weight lifted off those pretty little shoulders will get that scrap mojo back so I can continue to stalk your awesome gallery
I'm counting on seeing you around some, Karen, but I sure will miss having you here all the time! Good luck with school, and keep us posted on how things are going for you!
Awww, Karen, you really will be missed. You are just a staple of Sweet Shoppe Designs. Hope we'll still see you around some (and we need to see some Karen LOs!!). Best wishes to you!
