I never thought I would ever say it...but watch out hybrid girls cuz here I come!

I made $583 at the LSS for selling my old paper scrapbook stuff!!! :w00t: I get a Gift Certificate (GC) for the full amount to spend there at the store. Granted the only paper I have now is solid bazzill...basically...but that is all I wanted to keep besides my printed twill and brads (and I sold a bunch of those but still have hundreds).

I don't need the patterned paper because I will use the papers in the Sweet Shoppe kits that I have purchased (or will purchase)....print them out on my printer...and then use this to cut them out for hybrid projects:

Here is more information on what the machine is if you aren't familiar with it:

I am on the waiting list for the brand new one that is coming out that is compatible with the Windows 64 bit machines (which my laptop is!) and it has a small display screen and an SD card adapter...and from what they said in class...6 months of free digital downloads...for things like this (oh I am all giddy! ...ya gotta look):

Check out these hybrid boxes, cards, file folders and such:

...and oh look they even have robots...someone must have known I was going to get one of these and need it for our Robotics team! lol ...they even have gears!

I will have enough leftover after buying it...to buy cutting mats, cutting blades...and even quite a few scrapbooks and refill pages to put all my layouts into!!! I don't imagine I will spend any "real" money at the LSS the rest of the year.

Hopefully they will start shipping the machines the end of February...but the owner of the LSS said that he expects it will be sometime in March before they actually do ship. ...so will be waiting very impatiently...

...but how fun is this?!

That looks awesome!!!

I really irritated though. I have the wishblade. When it first came out all kinds of wonderful things were available...NOW, nothing. :(

I would LOVE to know which LSS too....I have soooooooo much stuff I am willing to part with but don't really know how.

It was a store in Kansas...but they only do this once a year. You might see if there are any in your area that do this.

I'm guessing it will be end of March or sometime in April before I actually get my hands on it...but am hoping the forecast is wrong and I get it sooner. ...but nice to know it's paid for!

I knew a few people with the wishblade...but it seemed a bit cumbersome to me so I just waited it out for it to become easier and cheaper. lol

However in the interim I need to convince my dh to let me buy a new printer...mine died this weekend...it printed my December calendar page...said "out of black ink"...I put in a new cartridge and then it said something like "your printer has exceeded it's life expectancy...please take it to an Epson repair facility or purchase a new one". say what?! it's dead. dh thinks I have spent too much on technology lately (2 ehd failed costing me $645 in data recovery, $150 for a 1.5 TB drive to replace them, and $180 for a 500 GB internal laptop drive AND the bracket to hold it in place. ...so I am going to have to use my son's printer in the basement for any hybrid challenges for awhile...
