Guess what I'm watching right now?


Twilight... yes.

I vowed never to read the books and felt no need to watch the movie... but DH rented it from Netflix and popped it in... so I'm watching.

Tell me, are they always this weird and awkward around eachother?

yeah..they are awkward! lol! You have to read the books when you are done! they are million and half times better than the movie IMO! :)
 
I really didn't think the movie did a good job AT ALL of portraying the characer/personalities of the players like I got from the books. I actually thought the movie sucked.

I actually agree with this. I thought it was fine from a movie POV, but did not compare to the books and did not portray the characters that well...

Same for me. Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say it sucked, but it was mediocre at best. To be fair, Stephenie Meyer's writing is character-driven and I think it's very tough to translate a character-driven book to a medium where you don't hear the characters' thought processes. I'm not a vampire-book kinda girl, but the books are my newest obsession. :)
 
Yah...Kristen is NOT a good actor....and neither is RPatz for that matter either. The books are 10 million times better :P
 
Yeah, I am a huge Twilight fan and even I can admit the movie wasn't that great. Doesn't mean I don't own it though. ;)
 
I didn't care for the movie the first time I watched it. I ended up having to watch it a few more times so that everyone in the house had seen it -- and it does seem to get better each time. Odd... but true in my case.

My fav character in the book is Edward, but in the movie James is just toooo damn hawt! I just drool!

Agreed--I love Edward and never wanted Bella with Jacob, but Taylor Lautner (Jacob) is way hotter than RPaz, or whoever he is. And the pics of him bulked up for New Moon...at least there'll be something nice to look at while I'm cursing the storyline.
