So, I have had a 'thing' about Christmas penguins for a while. I find it really hard to walk past a cute penguin in a shop.

We are going to put up our Christmas deco's this weekend and DH has just been getting the stuff down from the shed.

He really has not got enough to do because he decided to do a penguin head count. I now have 147 christmas penguins.

I think this has gone beyond a 'thing' and become an obsession. People will start calling me Mrs Popper !!!

Do you have an obsession like this?
 
I have a thing for snowmen. I have a hard time walking past them. I've added a few this year. I don't think I'm close to where you are yet but I typically just add one or two a year. This year I added a stuffed snowman and, so far, 2 snowmen ornaments. I have fallen in love with a collection of ornaments by Dept. 56. It is called 'snowpinions' and has these expressive little snowmen. Love them. I am getting ready to order a few more of them.
 
Do scrap kits or Kindle book freebies count? Because that's all I collect these days. (I use them, of course, but I think I'd still want the scrap kits even if all they did was sit on my HD looking pretty.)
 
build-a-bears...have quite a few. How many I am not sure really. When I last counted it was like 35 maybe? But I have been collecting them for like 6-7 years and some of them are my daughters.
 
Little angels statues. I got an angel once as a gift and somehow I got hooked.

I also love poppies. I have poppy cushions, 2 poppy pictures, 1 magnetic calendar with poppies, 1 poppy mug, a poppy table cloth and 2 poppy vases. And a poppy apron. I also had poppies on my balcony, but unfortunately that was the same thing as owning an insect breeding station, so I gave up. :-)

Haha! I love penguins too! I don't collect them though. I used to be obsessed with Precious Moments and I constantly bought them - that was before kids and before bills - so I just worked and spent. Now all my spare cash goes to mostly kids stuff and digiscrapping :)
