Obama's speech

Everyone keeps talking about the "change" we'll have if obama is elected. I have to say deep down I truly feel that that "change" will be terribly different from what everyone who supports him thinks it will. That truly saddens me that he has disillusioned so many.

Exactly my thoughts too. I wasn't totally excited by McCain either. I am however liking Palin! And thats all I'm gonna say. ;) Great discussion by the way!

I tend NOT to post in political discussions, but I have to add that as a military wife with a husband preparing for his 4th deployment to Iraq in September, not to mention the other deployments (training, schools) that keep him away from home 9 months out of the year(it has been this way for the past six years-he has been in the Marines for 14 years) the war is a BIG issue for me. I have to say that after reading the posts, I wanted to give high fives to Sam (the other Sam!), Dawn and Lynette!! Great points girls!!

(going back into lurk mode now!! LOL!!)

One more thing...the Saddleback Forum should have been watched and noted by all...McCain never flinched..he gave quick, honest and clear answers to every question whereas obama at nearly EVERY question just did his little dance around and never answering kind of thing again.

I agree with you! That was a fascinating comparison between the two!
