I wish it would just get cool enough here to wear a sweater!! (well and I wish it would snow but Id probably win hte lottery before I got that wish LOL)
 
We had flurries this morning on my drive :( :(
I just want it to go away. I still have class tomorrow, and boyfriend and I are supposed to go out of town this weekend... if it snows too much, we can't!
 
I've been snowed in since Friday here in the UK. The snowplough came today to clear our street but it's been snowing since and I still don't think we'll get out tomorrow. The UK has been getting a battering with the blizzards and it is unheard of for this kind of weather at this time of year. The school I teach in was closed last Thursday to the children, they came back in on Friday but today and yesterday the school has been closed to everyone. I have no idea what will happen tomorrow.

I think Gemma has had the same as me but she's at the other side of town. I would like some sunshine now :)

Florida's going to be getting a cold front later this week. Woo Hoo!!! It might not be snow but a sweater and jeans would be great. Maybe even a light jacket.:)

Andrea, the school my 2 go to HATE closing for snow so they were back there today, they did have the day off yesterday though, and I was a naughty mum and kept them off on Friday as it was impossible for me to get out the street, plus harry is only small and the snow was nearly up to his knees and there's no way we would have made it lol!
 
I HATE snow. I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I'm sick of being snowed in, and I'm sick of listening to whiney, cranky kids who have cabin fever, and I'm sick of schools being closed, and the whole stupid country coming to stand-still because of a few inches of snow. It's like a blizzard out there again, and my stupid neighbours have their one year old out playing on the street (it's 8:30pm), and they're making so much noise they'll wake the dead soon! Aaagggghh!

Ok rant over :D. Anyone who wants snow, please come and help yourself to mine! :thumbup:
 
We got lots of snow the last week. It's snowing again now even! I don't really like snow. I'm actually wondering if we might get a snow day for the kids soon. The roads are getting pretty bad in places. The school districts policy is "if the buses can go out they have school" I miss flip flops :(
 
I would totally trade places with you!! Id love to live in Ireland :)

Hee Hee bet they had a fab time :) I teach in a special school in Gateshead (Whickham) so the kids get mini buses from all over the borough and if the buses can't get into the estates - or the drivers think they won't be able to get them back home later in the day then we have to close. The staff were in on Thursday but today and yesterday everyone was out. Not sure what they'll do tomorrow but it's still snowing here.
 
We've had 2 days of flurries so far, nothing that stayed more than a day... and didn't cover the ground either time.
I love winter & snow, and I'm so impatienly waiting for SNOW! I want some! I'll take it if you don't want it :p
 
Snow? What is snow?



The few times it has snowed in SE Texas it has never hit our neighborhood. We must have some type of weird vortex here. My inlaws who live 45 miles south of me got 4 inches last year and we got none.
 
We haven't had any snow here yet. It's going to reach 50 today, so I'm not complaining too much about the weather, but I'll defiinitely ready for warm after Christmas is over.

I'm afraid that just looks cold and icky to me. Yuck to sleet!
 
We finally got some snow that stuck today. I love the snow as long as it stays off the roads...lol. But I hate the cold.

:thumbdown: I must have jinxed myself, because I woke up this morning to snow lol. But the girls are thrilled, and they can't wait til we get 'lottalotta' snow.
