NSBR: Tempermental Zippers?

I have this pair of jeans. That I love. But all of a sudden in the past few weeks the zipper will NOT stay up! I haven't gained any weight, so I know its not that! But its sooooooo embarrassing to all of a sudden realize your zipper is 1/2 way down!

Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, or tricks on how I can "fix" my zipper?

I always did the safety pin trick too.

Yea, safety pin or a small hair tie... thread it through the little opening in the zipper handle and then wrap it around your button!

I'd take them to my tailor and have her put a new zipper in. I've done that with favorite jackets too.
