NSBR: I feel like a bum

My friend just called to see if I wanted to see a movie tonight and I told her I was too tired--which I am. But now I feel bad and almost want to call and tell her I'll go! It'd be fun and I haven't done anything like that in FOREVER! I'm just so tired. We spent half the day in the sun and now I have a lovely sunburn and I think I am extra tired because of it. However, I feel like I'm just making an excuse not to go. blah!

Please tell me I'm not a bum!

You are totally not a bum Sarah! I would be the same way! Whenever we have spent the day outside, I love to come home and just relax!

No way!! I'm sooo tired right now. We left a family get-together early today and I don't feel bad at all!
Plus the sun really drains you...

I'm wearing the exact same 'jama pants from yesterday. The only reason I changed my dang shirt was because I got breastmilk all over the other one.

AND

I have guests...

NOW, who's the bum?

(and woot! this should be my 100th post)

Okay, you have a NEW baby!!! You have all the excuses in the world!!! But thanks for making me feel better. :)

I'm a bum too...we were visiting my parents this week and my brother came over and told me to come up to his house after my mom got home so she could watch the girls. I made up a bunch of excuses not to go, like my mom came home at 9:30 and now it is too late, it's dark out, it's rainy out, I don't want to have a dog jumping on me the whole time. If they woulda come to my parents house I woulda hung out with them. I was just too lazy to go anywhere. LOL

I haven't left my house today and am still in pajamas. It's 7 pm so apparently I'm staying in them. LOL

I think I can out bum all of you. Tomorrow is my SIL's 50th b-day (DH's sister). Not only are we not going to the cookout party (which is almost 3 hours away), but she has asked for a personal art piece created by us for her as a gift (she asked everyone for this, it can be anything, even just a photo) and we still have no idea what to give her. We've known about it for a month, but after yesterday's cookout & fireworks at a friends house and today's VFW fried chicken dinner (set up and cooking) all I want to do is *sit* in my house and not talk to people. DH feels the same and we both feel horribly guilty & still might end up on the road tomorrow, but really I don't wanna go.

Yeah - you're a bum.

j/k - I became a homebody once we had kids. Anyone and everyone is welcome to come to my house, but I'm much less likely to go out than I used to be.

You aren't a bum, if I can say I am not! lol!!!

I asked my hubby if for my bday I can just stay in bed all day with my laptop! lol!!!!!! He just said "If you want to waste a whole day." :glare:

Leahann and I were just talking earlier and I was tellin her I'm horrible. I used my son today! I was like eh...I can't go...my son really needs his nap...it's never a personal affliction...but today...how bad is this...I really didn't want to miss the reveal. And I hate going places. I love it once I'm out...but until you get me out...I'm pretty content at home just me and the son (daddy's usually workin...)

Nope, not a bum!!

I'm definitely a homebody too!! I very rarely go out with my friends anymore. I'd much rather spend time with my hubby and daughter. Nothing against my friends, of course, but my time at home is so much more enjoyable than going out!! Now I sound like a bum!! LOL!!

Wow, you guys made me feel so much better! I have always been a homebody. Like a few have said, I would rather spend time with my family than friends. But I do have a great time when I do go out and do something. :) Anyway, I went to bed earlier than I would've been home, so it's all good.
