....clean off or underneath your refridgerator? (or under your stove). Sears is delivering our new refridgerator some time tomorrow (i haven't hear back from them with a time yet). Mine has most of my cleaning supplies on it cause aidan won't leave them alone if i put them under the sink, cereal boxes cause i don't have any cabinet space for them, and who knows what else lol. And i'm afraid to pull it out and see whats underneath lol. its been a few months since i did that. do you regularly clean on top of and/or under your big appliances? or am i the only lazy cleaner?
 
wait...what? :p

When I moved my stove to put in the new floor there was a coupon under there that expired in 1983. LOL

We've only lived there 4 years, so it's not my fault :p
 
lol I dont think I have cleaned off the top of my fridge since the day we moved in! About 2 years ago. I fear what may be up there but I sweep out the underside quite often. Now the stove.....is a totally different story. I try to keep them wiped clean but other than that lol
 
i'm SO glad i'm not the only one who doesn't do it regularly! My fridge was pulled out and cleaned under over the summer (in think it was may or june) but that was only because we had electricians here and they had it pulled out to install a new outlet behind it. so i went ahead and swept under it, lol. I think i'm going to go ahead and do it now, that way tomorrow all i have to do is take everything out of it when they get here.
 
I clean the top of the fridge whenever I clean the kitchen - it's just part of the routine. UNDER the fridge t hough.. unless you count shoving the extension from my lil dirt devil under there when I do the other regular kitchen stuff .. never lol. I don't move the fridge.
 
I only do behind the fridge during my "spring cleaning" time (not always in the spring lol). I vacuum the coils in the back cuz they're usually full of dust and crap. I do the top of my frige pretty often cuz I'm tall and can sometimes see the dust up there if I have to reach for something.

As for the stove... :blink: :blink: :blink:

I've lived here for four years and never pulled it out to clean behind it. I'm sure its nasty. Now its gonna bug me until I do it.

that should be part of the routine, but i'm lazy lol. i clean off my counters, wipe down the kitchen table, clean off the stove, wipe the front of the fridge (but mine now is black so it's hard to keep clean; my new one is satina silver whatever its called) and sweep and mop the floor. thats my regular kitchen routine. i wish i was a better housekeeper, but i get no help and with 3 small kids and a husband who never helps i just give up lol.

I clean the top of my stove pretty regularly. Behind it? hell no. Also, I wipe down the front of the fridge but not the top or behind or under it.

thats why i'm going to go ahead and do it before they get here; so i won't be embarassed when we pull it out and i see all sorts of stuff under there; like silverware, small toys, milk lids etc. lol.

oh and i should add that i do regulary clean off the top of the stove; my first post i just meant under or behind lol. yuck; if i never cleaned off the top it'd look like that BBC show "how clean is your house" ewww some people are nasty. i don't think i'm anywhere near as bad as some of them!
 
Once a month underneath and every week inside of it and every two or three weeks on top of the fridge. The stove is alot less often because it is gas and so Im afraid Im gonna mess up the gasline going into the stove
 
I don't pile stuff on my fridge and mircowave but my fam does!

as far as wiping it off for dust... i wipe the mircowave off everyday, the fridge, not so much
 
I clean the top every few months, but I only pull them out about once a year - its such a PITB to get the stove back in right!
 
Clean underneath? Umm...no. Mainly because I don't want to move it...leave it to hubby. He actually DID move the fridge last weekend and cleaned underneath...all I can say is GROSS. Take pics and scrap a Halloween/scary LO with them LOL. He's doing the stove this weekend, and I'm expecting that to be at least as bad.
 
we cleaned under our stove once because we had ants coming from a hole in the wall behind it...

Our fridge... I think we cleaned under it once because there was a puddle of water from a spill. but i'm not sure if we did clean it that time!
 
i don't pull out the stove (i'm afraid too b/c of the gas line) but I can pull out the storage drawer to clean the floor underneath. it's not a regular occurrence though :unsure:

under fridge, only when it's broken and the repair guy pulls it out LOL. top of fridge, whenever i think about it (which is not that often)

Ditto. I have cleaned under the stove kinda, I take the drawer out and vacuum under it once in awhile. As for the fridge, the last time I cleaned under it was a couple of months ago when DH moved it but before that probably a year before.
