Ok, so I'm trying to figure out if I'm clickable on FB or not. I don't want to be open to people who aren't my friends but I can't tell if I am or not. How do you know if you are or not? But I know when I am looking at my high school graduating class, my name is clickable but that's probably because it's me looking. Is there a way to know?
 
You are clickable to anyone who is in the same network as you, I think. That's why I'm not in any networks anymore.
 
Well, I just checked and there are some people on the same network that I'm on and they are not clickable.
 
No body can see your homepage and your stuff unless they are your friend. Now if you post pictures and a you don't mark it "friends only" then any one who comments will have it posted on their page. There for any of their friends can see the pictures, all the pictures. They click on that one an it takes them to the album. Now your profile cannot be seen by anyone. When someone looks up your name they get your profile picture and can see who your friends are, but nothing private. I know that sounds so confusing. I hope it help some what.
 
You can change your privacy settings so that only your friends see you, which I assume means that someone can't do a search for you and find you. Anybody want to test that theory by searching for me? Kellie Fite Turner
I am definitely big on privacy, and I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of a few "friends" without hurting their feelings. I just don't like being friends with my parents' friends on fb, kwim?

i mean, not that i'm glad YOU can't find me Leila, lol, just glad that random folks I care nothing about can't find me.
 
Hmmm...that's weird because my son's friend was in a network with me and I wasn't his friend, but I could see his FB. Once I left the network, I couldn't see him anymore. So I just assumed it was because we were in the same network.

In any case, the only people I want to be able to see my FB are the ones I have as friends.
 
If you go to your privacy tab under settings, you can determine what you want people to see. For everything in your profile, you can set it to anything from "only friends" to "friends of friends" to "network" to "anyone." So there are a bunch of options. I think to go stealth (where nobody can find you or see you), everything needs to be "only friends" and you also need to set search visibility to "only friends." HTHs :)
