Anyone here ever sell on EBay or Craigslist? I'm doing some cleaning (yikes) and I have some stuff that I want to get rid of...I'm not sure if I want to have a garage sale but they may be the easiest thing to do...I thought of Ebay or Craigslist but I know nothing about it...If you've sold anything can you tell me if it's worth it or if I should just do the garage sale thing....Thanks!

don't waste your time with Ebay. Sales are slumping because shipping costs have gotten so high as well as listing prices.

As for craigslist, we use it all.the.time. We get buy stuff, we sell stuff, and we give stuff away. I like it because 1) its local, 2) its free to list and 3) they come pick it up from me so I'm not hauling stuff around.

I vote for craigslist.

I agree with Jenny! I have done both but Ebay is way too expensive anymore. But I'd like to add that if you sell on Craig's List make sure you specify "Cash Only". Way too many scams out there....

Craig's List is totally the way to go! We recently moved and have used CL to get rid of a lot of stuff we don't need anymore!! It's awesome!!

just chiming in with another craigslist fan! We sold some bigger ticket items a few months ago on there (massage chair, above ground pool, bed, etc...) and it was great! I could've never done that on ebay...and wouldn't have gotten much for them at a garage sale!
