NSBR--Any survivor fans?

Eek! That's tonight?! Thanks for the reminder! Good thing I'm on the west coast so I have a few hours before its on :)
 
I love Survivor. Though I only watch it on and off. My girls go to sleep at 8:30...so the 1st half hour I miss a lot. And sometimes I'm too distracted by my laptop :D

a funny, sorta related story. I play games w/my girls. One is the typical memory game (w/some modification by me). One of the 1st times my oldest made a match she held the pieces in her hands in the air and yelled "I won immunity!" haha.

sadly...I did NOT get a photo of it lol

ok so for the survivor fans is ozzy and oh darn i forgot her name going to be this survivor's couple or is it going to be james & oh man i forgot her name too...oh i guess i only remember guys :) i guess i should've asked this question when i knew all the names...
 
I would be happy with NO couple...I think its silly to start in on that right away, of course I was never a Pavarti fan for just this reason. I can see why she would wanna get all up on Jamess' business though, HUBBA HUBBA!

Buttt...Ozzy is one of my favorite Survivors of ALL TIME, so I am rooting for him...GOOOO OZZY!
 
I'm so mad...I missed the first episode. I thought the DVR was set but evidently not. It will be for next week!

Now I just have to watch it on the internet.
 
Wasn't it good? I'm actually looking for the fans to take a lead over the favorites just cause the faves are so hung up on being a celebrity. You know?

Still, I'm soooooooooooooooo pulling for Ozzy (with Yau-man being a close 2nd).

Did anyone else think that Ozzy looked a lot "prettier"? LOL, he seemed so much rougher and disheveled in his original season.

Yes! I was totally diggin his look during his 1st appearance.

So I hope Ozzy sticks around a long time so he can get all roughed up looking again.

As for hooking up - I don't like it lol. I didn't like Pavarti the 1st time around in the beginning b/c she uses that as one of her tools. I liked her much better when she was on the 'underdog' side b/c she really started playing and I thought that she was physically much stronger and able in the challenges than I thought she would be and her social skills were much better than the other girl that was on her side during her season.

My faves before were Ozzy, Yau-man, James, etc...but really...I want some good game playing so I can root for them.
 
Libby, I'm with you!! I want the fans to kick the favorites' butts...however, I LOOOOVE James and Yau-Man! Parvati needs to GO so James gets his head in the game, or he'll be GONE. So hopefully James and Yau-Man get as far as the merge, then I can cheer for them and not the rest of their loser tribe. Ozzy is OK but his new hairdo weirds me out, lol. But the rest of the "favorites" were never any of MY favorites, I could leave them, lol.

ETA: It seems this time around, the hookup was WAY faster...I'm wondering if it's maybe because the favorites are just in it for a good time this time and figure they'll win anyway because they've done it once before? I dunno, I think they've got a HUGE disadvantage - the fact that they HAVE played before means they know eachother and are more distrusting of eachother, which can't help them bond, really. It will be interesting to see it all play out...
 
I would love to see James or Yau -Man win and am so so glad the way it turned out last night...but I am kinda rooting for the fans 'casue all the faves seem a little too cocky! But I'll be watching weekly!

I am usually good about watching the first couple and then forgetting the rest of them. I was glad to see that guy go though!

too funny i said i was going for the fans too...but i do like james...yauman...and ozzy is just too darn cute not nto like...i agree i think pavarti needs to go...

You know what though. Wondering who they polled for the "faves" I really do only like a few of the faves. Guess the real favorites declined lol..Where's Rupert? Everybody loved Rupert! lol
 
Maybe the ones that have already had a second chance weren't given a third chance...

You KNOW Rob & Amber wouldn't have declined being back on Survivor - publicity hogs that they are!

Yeah, cause a lot that I'd consider "favorites" have already been on twice - either on the favorites show before, or the one season that they had 2 past survivors join a tribe each (remember, Jerri and someone - can't remember who, but it was a guy).
 
yep! I love the show. My favs so far are also ozzy, yau man and james. I'll be tuned in every week rooting for my favs. I'll have to get to know the fans better to see if one of them sneaks into one of my fav spots.
