Not new but rusty

I took a little break from digital scrapbooking (not by choice) but am getting my groove back! I am trying to make metallic foil paper and elements but can't figure it out. I am looking for a specific look and I can't get the gold to look like real foil.. I'd do a search for metallic or ombre photoshop styles. I don't think we have any here at SSD, but I have seen several around the net from other stores and also lots of free ones. Do a google search and see what you find.

Another idea could be to use a colored gradient, then add a texture to it.

another "rusty" ?? I found some metalic styles and installed them.. how do I use them?

i did the color gradient.. the coloring is just off.. I guess it takes lots of practice!

maybe you can help me here.. how do I change the color of a style.. like I have a brushed metal style but its silver.. how do I make it gold?
