No scrapping for a while.....

I had an accident slipping on a bit of water on my kitchen floor and broke my right wrist in 2 places. :( Surgery is scheduled for the 13th. If all goes well, I will get a removable cast the day before students start. I'm so bummed.... this is the first summer I was actually keeping up with the summer challenges! Figures!
 
Oh, my gosh! That's awful. I'm so sorry. I hope your recovery/healing goes well. Maybe you can dabble with your left hand?

Ouch!! So sorry to hear you’ve been hurt. Maybe it’s a good opportunity to rest and relax this summer and read some good books. Hope your healing goes well.
 
Oh no, what a huge bummer! My husband had a similar wrist fracture/surgery so I know how hard it is. Sending you lots of good vibes that the surgery and recovery goes smoothly.
 
Oh no, I'm so sorry. My daughter's boyfriend just broke his right arm in a freak accident. You just never know. Wishing you good healing vibes!
 
Oh no! I'll be praying for your medical team and for you to have quick healing following your surgery.

My back issues/back pain always shows up at the worst moments, so I understand your frustration at not being able to keep up with the challenges.

Oh no, that sounds very painful as well as very frustrating. So bad that you have to have it operated on. I hope that it heals well.
