Hello there! I am a scrapper, quilter, reader, and of course an avid card maker.

I am a wife to a wonderful hubby, mother of 2 beautiful girls (16 and 21) and one furbaby.

I love to get with my friends and we make cards for Operation Write Home. Last yeat we mailed out 1,200 cards to this organization. It is truly a great cause and reason to make cards.

Welcome! I am so glad you are a part of SSD right now! I totally love it and I hope that you do too! Everyone is nice and VERY helpful. Please always feel like you can ask questions. I can't wait to see your creations!

Hi Lori!

I am a wife of 26 years (as of May) ... and mom to 3 boys (14, 16, 21) ... and a dog named Sparkles.

Wow that is a LOT of cards! We made some when we were sponsoring my bil's unit when they were serving over in Iraq ... plus sponsored the Support Our Troops at both of my kids' schools.
