New Tutorial & Freebie Template!

Thanks for checking, Brook! It's just the weirdest thing...I did some cleanup on my computer thinking maybe I didn't have enough memory to work with and then restarted the computer. I redownloaded the zip file and tried opening them again. Both the TIF and PSD files crash photoshop when I try to open them. I'm able to open other templates with larger file sizes with no problem. It's so frustrating because obviously Brook's file is fine since others have been able to open it. What version of PS are you all using? I have CS3...maybe that's the problem??

I guess I'll do it the hard way and follow the tutorial. lol Only now I want to figure this thing out so I don't feel like it beat me. lol
 
Hmmm... Laura. :( I wish I could figure out what the problem is. Maybe it isn't compatible with CS3? I can re-save it without shadows for you... that's the only thing that might be causing a problem since the shadow styles are more advanced. Not sure. Unfortunately, I won't be able to work on it until after Christmas. Sorry!

I remember when I first realized how easy it was to do a scallop - I bet lots of people are having "aha" moments on this tutorial. Great job!!
And thanks for the template! Even though its not hard, it saves me a lot of time! :)
 
Thank you Brook! I have some great pictures of Adrienne decorating our tree for Christmas. This will be perfect for them!
