I'm new to this forum, but not to digiscrapping (or several of the designers here). Excited to surf around the gallery and forums here on SSD.

I guess technically I'm new as I just had to sign up for the forum :D I've been digi scrapping on and off for a few years but I really got serious about it at the beginning of 2013... I just started the "2014 Project Love Me" challenge (which is how I found out I didn't have a forum account!) and now I have to go figure out how to edit that post (I'm assuming I need a certain minimum number of posts first :huh: ) anyway, see y'all around!

Hi! I'm a real person. I've been lurking around for a few weeks but just joined up tonight. Just started digiscrapping. I used to scrap on paper years ago, but got away from it. Now I've taken the time to learn digiscrapping and I have a 2 year old son, so I have a lot of scrapping to do! I'm not a big talker, but I love a challenge and I'd love full access so I can jump into those.

Hi there. I too have been lurking and shopping at SSD for some time (years) and with the New Year and new challenge system I thought now might be a good time to officially sign up! I've been digiscrapping for 5 years and just the past year have become hooked on the project life style of scrapping. I'm looking forward to joining in some challenges here and the SSD community!
 
Thanks Libby. That was fast! It's been a couple of years since I last uploaded to galleries and posted in forums, etc so I'm going to have to search my memory on how to do all that, as well as get scrapping!
 
LOL I'm always here late at night (when the baby is asleep! LOL) If you have any questions or need help, just ask! We've got a ton of people who are happy to help with anything you need!

Amy, you should be fixed now. I approved that post. There's a another spam filter thing in our forum software that sometimes doesn't like it when new people insert images. I manually approved the message. If it happens again though, feel free to drop me a PM, and I'll get you fixed up!

I just tried posting my LO in the January 12 challenge thread but got a message that my post is blocked and needs administrator approval (or something like that). Is there a gremlin in there like this one that doesn't like me because I'm new (though it wasn't a problem last week....):

I got you fixed up, Kim!! :) I'm trying to remember to keep an eye on the challenge threads since that seems to be where most of the new people are posting images. If I miss one though, it's always ok to buzz me!

And btw, your page is GORGEOUS! I love every thing about it!!
 
Do I need to have a certain post count to post attachments? I posted in the January 12 thread but it said it had to be approved.

Hi, I'm Sam, my user name is Bellerose. I started scrapping in June last year and love it. After finally making myself learn how to use Photo Shop CS2 (I've had it on my lap top for years 'obviously' as it is CS2) I became addicted. I've uploaded a few layouts where I have used a lot of Sweet Shoppe content, but when I started I gave myself a huge challenge of trying to document all of 2013 with about 6-8 layouts for each month. As I started over half way through 2013, I still have most of the first part of the year to finish :) So this year, I decided I would try Project Life and only do layouts of photos that really excite me with fresh ideas. FYI - I now use photoshop CC and upgraded to a MAC desktop, my husbands idea :)

BIG QUESTION is it because I am new that I can't post messages on others layouts. I have a few comments on mine and would really like to share the love with others.
