New to our Community?

Hello from Seattle!

Just popping in to say hello! I've been a traditional scrapbooker for over 20 years but recently converted to digital scrappin about 9 months ago.......and absolutely love it! I discovered SSD almost immediately and pretty much buy all my kits here. March is the first bingo month I'm attempting and I just made my first gallery post with two of my layouts (not sure why it says my limit of 5 has been reached?!). Now....I just have to figure out how to upload my signature. :)

I've changed your forum permissions, so you should have a little more freedom now. :) You may still notice some weird stuff until you have 10 posts, but you can bump that number up quickly by leaving some love in the gallery!

Welcome to SSD! I think you're going to love digi, and our Bingo challenges are a GREAT way to get involved!
 
I have been purchasing kits in the shop for several years, and occasionally I have posted a layout or two in the gallery but now I have decided that it is time I start participating a little in the forums as I have always just hid in the shadows...figure its time to join in the fun and them I can start posting some love in the galleries :)

Hi there! So glad you decided to jump in and join us! You should be good to go now as you have 12 posts. I went in to change your settings, but you were already fixed due to your post count. So, you can make yourself at home!

So glad you're here with us! I've changed your forum permissions, but you still may notice some strange things until you reach 10 posts. That will go away on its own once you hit that magic number of 10. The quickest way to do that is simply to leave some comments in the gallery!

Hello Everyone :)

Just a quick note to say I'm here. I've been on a bit of a digital scrapbooking break and I'm excited to be back. I designed for a while (as Ohana) but I've retired from designing and just a regular digi scrapper. Looking forward to jumping into the challenges and getting YEARS worth of pictures scrapped.

FormbyGirl, Lynnie, here. Wanted to post comments on some of the beautiful designs in the gallery - so decided to join. I probably won't post too many layouts - I own way too much stuff from other sites, designers, but I did want to compliment some of your great scrappers :)

Hi there, just thought I’d introduce myself. I’m a traditional paper scrapper with a lapse of 5 years of doing nothing creative at all. I’ve recently decided to have a catch up on the last 5 years of memories and have started to dabble with digi. I’m very much a beginner with lots to learn. I’m also using a program call affinity on my iPad to create my pages which I guess is different to most of you who are using photoshop I presume. I’m so enjoying learning and creating again and maybe when I feel my layouts are good enough i might share a few in the gallery!

After a long scrap break, it is here that I decided to make my return, I am already very fan of your shop that, despite my break, I continue to watch and I cracked on some Kristin kits.

Hello! I am a newbie to the Sweet Shoppe forum, but not the store or digi-scrapping. Been a paper scrapper since 1998, a digi scrapper since 2009, and I've done a little designing since 2011. Love scrapping (hehehe), photography, Disney, the Beach and teaching preschoolers!

New to the Forum!

:)My name is Lorie, I've been scrapping for years, but have fully embraced digital scrapping in the last 2 years. I've bought several Sweet Shoppe Kits, but only discovered the Forums this week! I am attempting to complete some part of the June Bingo Card as a way to get me out of my digiscrap comfort zone! :)
Hubby and I celebrate 25 yrs of marriage this year and we have 4 children, one Daughter-in-law, and two of the cutest Granddaughters ever! :hugs:

To answer your question, you won't be able to post an attachment in the forum here. All photos need to be hosted elsewhere.

Here's a tutorial on inserting your layouts into posts (if your layout is hosted in our gallery):

For other images, you can host them offsite on sites like imgur.com If you do it from there, you'll just want to copy the "BBCode" and paste it here. It will look like this (without the spaces)

Hello! I'm somewhat new here, I guess I registered for the first time back in 2010 when I was first getting into digi scrapbooking but now that one of my designers, Meagan's Creations, is now here I'm looking forward to getting to know the community better!
