Angie, so happy to have you joining us in the community! I've got your permissions all changed, so you should be good to go! If you have any weird issues, they should resolve themselves after you have 10 posts. You can get that post count up quickly by commenting in the gallery. Again, welcome to SSD!
 
Hi! New to the forum, to SSD, and to digi scrapping. NOT new to paper scrapping at all. Now that we (the Mr. and I) are traveling, it's much easier to take my laptop than all my scrapping supplies, into the RV. SO, digi it is! I purchased Artisan 5 a couple of days ago and have spent most of this weekend at a retreat viewing tutorials and shopping for digi kits. Any and all suggestions, advice, comments, etc. appreciated.

Everyone here is super friendly and wlling to help, so if you have questions, please don't hesitate to start a thread and ask for help. I'm not familiar with Artisan 5, but I would bet that someone here can help you out!

I've changed your forum permissions, so you should be able to settle in now. You may still notice some weird things until you have 10 posts, but everything will resolve on its own at that point. The quickest way to bump that number up is to leave some comments in the gallery.

Hi! My name is Pam, and I have been more or less lurking for a while. I have wanted to try the Bingo Challenge, but never seem to have enough kits to manage. I finally downloaded a few from the freebie site and with others I think I will try the challenge. Looks like a great site, and there are several designers that I have loved for a long time.:wub:

Hi! Another newbie here :) I just posted my first layouts to the gallery...

I've been scrapbooking for about 20 years (yikes!), but just got hooked on digital scrapping last summer while trying to make a shutterfly book. And now I've converted completely. I'm so glad I found this website.

A little more about me: My name's Christine, and I'm a speech therapist & was an Alpha Phi in college (hence, speechphi). I have three kids (11, 10, 7.5) and a wonderful hubby who loves that my hobby no longer requires piles of stuff on the table (and counter and desk!).

Hi! I'm new in the forums (not the shoppe so much - ha!). I've been kind of roaming around trying to find a digital scrapbooking "home". :) I've scrapbooked for 16 years, but converted completely to digital several years ago. I love the pocket style scrapping so that I'm not always reinventing the wheel, but enjoy playing with other stuff, too - I so appreciate that so many Sweet Shoppe products are designed for both!

A little about me: I'm in Kentucky, I love photography and have been taking some online classes to get a bit better, I'm a lawyer in my much-less-interesting day job, and I have three kids (including a brand new teenager - yikes!)

Hello and a little help

Hello,
I just signed up for the community feature. I am new to digital scrapbooking so I'm still trying to learn the basics. I wanted to purchase one of the new fourth of July products to use as a background for my blogger template (personal blog). Would I be able to do that if I purchased it? Does it come with instructions on how to do that?

Welcome to Sweet Shoppe!

Your best bet on a project like that is to message the individual designer directly and ask them if they'd be ok with that kind of use. We all have our own terms on what is acceptable, and while many would probably be ok with personal use on a blog, some may not.

You can use our contact us form to contact individual designers.

As far as instructions, no, it wouldn't have any type of instructions. Your best bet would probably be just to google and look for a tutorial on adding graphics to your particular blogging platform.

Hello all. Been a member for over a year, but merely only read things, looked and, of course, have been buying kits and templates for that long. Just finished a page from our 35th Anniversary Trip to Aulani in Oahu which I wanted to share since I used a kit I purchased at SSD.
