New PSCS4 Features!

I know someone posted a thread recently mentioning CS4 is set to release some time soon. Here is a website that shows what the changes will be. It looks pretty darn cool, I'm especially interested in the tabbed documents and mask options (I use masks for everything). Anyway, I thought I'd share for those that are interested.

OMGosh! It sounds wonderful! I love love the tabbed options, that will be so much better. I tend to have a lot of things open at one time in PS.
 
Nice! I'm excited about several of the new features, but I heart masks big time :wub: so any improvements there make me very happy.

People keep saying in these threads that this isn't being released for Mac (not sure what has made them think that), but this article plus the fact that CS4 is available for pre-order at the Apple store put that silly notion to rest.
 
I have never used CS2 or CS3 before. i've always been a PSE girl. But now I feel like i've 'grown up' a little. i'm kinda wanting to try out a 'big kids' photoshop now! but, i don't have the $$ so i guess i'm stuck with PSE6 lol.
 
looks like some cool features!

The tabbing looks cool although I am very used to just ctrl tabbing through my open files.

I read that it's only being released in 32bit for Mac whereas it's being released as 64bit for PCs. A lot of people are misreading that as CS4 isn't being released for Mac at all.
 
Mimi, I didn't realize you could do ctrl tab! Thanks for the tip. I always go through the silly drop down! I keep meaning to print out the list of hot keys. I'm sure I have plenty of inefficiencies, lol.
