New Orleans?

We're headed to New Orleans at the end of the week to visit my SIL and her boyfriend. I'm looking for ideas of things we could take the kids to do while we're there. They live in the uptown area and we can apparently ride the street car to most places. We will be doing one or two of the family friendly parades but I wanted to have some ideas that were kid friendly (10 and 14) in my back pocket so we aren't all sitting around staring at each other.

Has anyone ever been to New Orleans or live there? Recommendations?

The aquarium and the zoo are fun...i think they have an imax theater too.

swamp tour or riverboat ride?

there is a voodoo museum too which sounds cool!

Canal Street Ferry is free and gives great views of the city.

They have a good zoo and the swamp tours are fun!

We took the kids to the zoo, the aquarium, and the insectarium when we went a few years ago.
